Job description/objective: 


Maintain meticulous records of financial transactions by accurately coding and entering source data for Payroll, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.  Attention to detail and exceptional time management skills required for administrative duties including; employment processing, student benefits, record management, AA/EEO compliance, and labor relations. General banking and clerical duties are also included, such as bank runs, copying, faxing, mail pickup and distribution. 


We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 2 years accounting experience with a solid knowledge of bookkeeping procedures and office administration.  Knowledge of Peachtree software is a plus.  The applicant must have proficiency in Excel and Outlook, exhibit an extremely high level of accuracy and possess effective written and oral communication skills.


Ability to assist with developing standards, analyzing information, dealing with complex calculations, reporting research results, data entry skills, accounting following SFAS rules, attention to detail, ability to maintain confidentiality, and thoroughness are required for this positon.


Key Performance Objectives:


  1. Accounting and Reporting: 
    1. Maintains subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.
    2. Maintains historical records by filing documents.
    3. Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing reports; advising management on needed actions.
    4. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results in a timely manner.
  2. Communication: Maintains confidentiality of contracts, tuition, budget and financial concerns relating to Educational Consultants, Parents, Group Leaders, Students, Management and staff.

International Communications Specialist




DUTIES: Develop and establish effective communications designed to cultivate relationships with our contacts and sources in China and abroad for referral of international students.  Measure the effectiveness of advertising and communications in international and Chinese media and design media in both Chinese and English.  Design and implement international student recruitment campaigns in Chinese and English using website, video presentations, and social media sites.  Plan and execute programs that enhance public perception of the international students program and lead activities intended to interest international students.  Plan efforts to raise visibility of partner schools and work on specific school-based communication issues.  Communicate with Chinese speaking parents regarding program requirements, student academic progress, student disciplinary issues and other student issues.  Serve as a resource on community and diversity issues for staff in their work with international students and in their development of curriculum and programs.  Monitor public relations and image of our school.  Meet with and report to administrators to develop programming to enhance cultural experience for international students.


REQUIREMENTS:  Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Communications or related field; one year or equivalent experience in communications and ability to fluently communicate in both Chinese and English.
